How Many Men Suffer From ED?
Here is an interesting statistic on the number of men who suffer from erectile dysfunction. According to researchers at the University of Wisconsin’s Department of Urology, “mild to moderate erectile dysfunction affects approximately 10 percent of men per decade of life.” In other words, that means 40% of men in their 40s, 50% of men in their 50s, 60% of men in their 60s, etc.
At what age does ED Start? While erectile dysfunction can and does occur at any age, as these figures point out, sexual performance decreases, and the risk of developing ED increases, the older you get. We know that the most common cause of age-related ED is poor blood flow. The critical blood vessels that supply the blood necessary to achieve an erection, can become clogged, or otherwise damaged as you age. This results in vascular ED, which is the most common type of ED in men over 40.
The popular oral ED medications such as Viagra, cannot and do not address this root cause of ED. A relatively new therapy, known as shockwave therapy, is showing great promise it its ability to improve blood flow, and therefore, erectile quality.
Shockwave Therapy and Age-related ED
Basically, shockwave therapy uses the pulsed energy of soundwaves waves to increase blood flow to the penis by stimulating the repair, and rejuvenation of age-worn blood vessels and erectile tissue.
The main reason for the development of “age-related erectile dysfunction,” is a buildup of plaque in the arteries that supply blood to the erectile tissue. Shockwave therapy has been shown in clinical trials to break up this plaque, unclog these arteries, and improve blood flow to the penis!
We have recently introduced our own protocols for using shockwave therapy to improve male sexual performance which we collectively call “GAINSWave Therapy™”
The painless procedure uses pulsating waves to open up old blood vessels, and to stimulate the formation of new vessels. The resulting improved blood flow, helps any man, and not just those with ED, to better quality erections.
Shockwave Therapy and PRP Therapy Work Better Together
For even better results, we have combined the GAINSWave™ protocols with the proven effectiveness of the Priapus shot, (P-shot) to create the new and improved version of the Gains Enhancement®.
The P-shot uses PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma. PRP uses the healing and growth factors in your own blood to increase blood flow to the penis. The healing powers of PRP also stimulate the growth of new tissue, which results in improved ability to achieve bigger, and more sustainable erections.
The GAINSWave™ and the P-shot are what we call “synergistic,” meaning that each one enhances the effect of the other. When we combine the two therapies to create the Gains Enhancement, we deliver a “one-two punch,” that results in vast improvements in the quality of your erections and your ability to perform sexually.
What Are the Benefits of the Gains Enhancement®?
Almost immediately after the treatment, your body’s own growth factors in the Gains Enhancement get right to work to increase blood flow to the penis. The improved blood flow immediately improves your ability to achieve and maintain an erection.
Just about any man looking for a “bedroom boost” can benefit from the Gains Enhancement. But, it is ideal for certain men, such as those who cannot take oral ED medications, or men suffering from diabetes, heart disease or high blood pressure.
