Doctors from Around the Country Attend ED Training
Our ED Training was held just last week, prior to the A4M Conference. I am very happy to have held our first Continuing Medical Education training in our Aventura headquarters. This training is for physicians on the latest treatments for male sexual wellness and erectile dysfunction.
Doctors from around the country were well represented, including those from San Antonio, New York, San Diego, North Carolina and as far away as Portland, Oregon.
Interestingly enough, we also had a few female doctors attend the training.
ED Training – For A Growing Problem
For the past several decades there has been increasing recognition that erectile dysfunction (ED) is a common problem, not only of “older men,” but for all men.
Erectile Dysfunction is defined as the persistent inability to attain or maintain an erection of sufficient quality to allow for satisfactory sexual intercourse.
Several studies have looked at the prevalence of ED. The Massachusetts Male Aging Study reported a prevalence of 52%, and it increases as men age. The study also noted, a higher probability in patients with heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes.
The numbers of men suffering with some form of ED can be truly staggering. The U.S only is estimated to have over 600,000 new cases every year.
Beyond all the stats and numbers, the truth is, most men will suffer from ED at one point or another.
When men find themselves struggling with ED, the place they are most likely to turn to for help is the office of their primary care physician. That is why I have created this ED training program for primary care physicians and other practitioners.
The physicians like those who attend the ED training, understand there is more to treating ED than simply writing a prescription for one of the popular oral ED medications.
The ED Training
The objective of this ED training is to help primary care physicians and general practitioners to gain knowledge and a level of confidence to offer comprehensive male sexual dysfunction treatments in their practices.
The ED training course is also designed to provide physicians hands-on ED training. They’ll learn with my own proprietary Platelet Rich Plasma treatment for ED, the Gains Enhancement.
In the ED training course we will discuss:
- Causes and risk factors for erectile dysfunction
- Evaluating and assessing your patients presenting with erectile dysfunction
- An overview of relevant anatomy
- Background on PRP
- The Gains Enhancement: When indicated and how to use
This ED training course has been designed to train you in the diagnosis and new standards of care available for the treatment of male sexual dysfunction.
Effective treatment for ED can improve your patient’s’ quality of life, self-esteem, and their ability to maintain intimate relationships.
