Ansomone is the recombinant HGH (human growth hormone) which is obtained from the bacteria, E coli. This synthetic hormone, which is composed of 191 amino acids, has similar three dimensional structure and amino acid sequence as in the natural growth hormone produced in humans. The hormone is administered in the form of injections and is widely used for treatment when there’s a deficiency of the growth hormone in both adults and kids.

The Uses

Ansomone is prescribed as a medication for growth retardation due to the deficiency of the human growth hormone. This synthetic hormone, when administered, complements the deficiency or insufficiency of the growth hormone in the human body. Ansomone also helps to regulate kidney function in adults, and so is used in the treatment of kidney failure or CRI (Chronic Renal Insufficiency). The hormone accelerates the protein synthesis in the body, enhances the immune resistance to infections, and also accelerates the healing of surgical and burn wounds. This synthetic hormone also helps to regulate the lipid metabolism, thereby controlling the level of serum cholesterol and low density lipoprotein in the body.

The Administration

The synthetic growth hormone Ansomone is available in the form of a loose lyophilized powder, which is white in color. For administering the drug, you should first inject 1 ml of water into the bottle containing the powder. The injection should be done along the walls of the bottle and the bottle should be then swirled in a gentle manner so that the contents in it are dissolved completely. The medicine can be then injected into the fat which lies just below the skin of the patient. The administration of the medicine is quite easy, owing to the small and narrow needles used and the small amount of drug involved. The medicine should be taken once a day without fail.

The side effects

The usage of Ansomone can also lead to the development of certain side effects. One may experience a slight pain and tingle around the site of injection. These side effects usually occur at the beginning of the treatment, and gradually fade away with the progress in treatment. But a high dosage administration of this drug for a long time can cause the development of antibodies in some patients. Usually, this antibody concentration is low to cause interference to the hormone therapy. If the antibody concentration crosses the allowed limit, then your physician will introduce some changes in your therapy. Cancer patients and pregnant ladies are advised not to take in Ansomone.

The Availability

Ansomone is manufactured by the company, Anhui Anke Biotechnology, which is a leading name in the field of pharmaceuticals and health care. Ansonome is not approved for use in the USA.
