An Alternative to Cenegenics ® Growth Hormone (HGH)
Men over 35 who are interested in improving strength and vitality, often search for providers of Human Growth Hormone, or HGH. If you are in your 30s or 40s, and are not feeling as young and vital as you used to, searching for HGH is not a bad idea. HGH therapy has been shown to:
- Reduce body fat
- Improve muscle mass
- Provide increased strength and energy
- Strengthen bones
- Improve immune functions
- Improve focus and cognition
However, when Googling “HGH” or “HGH Providers,” searchers are often lead to Cenegenics.
Cenegenics ® is a well-known age management clinic that provides hormone replacement therapy. HGH is a hormone, and its supplemental use is used with hormone replacement therapy or HRT.
However, the problem is that Cenegenics may not simply prescribe HGH for you. They will do a series of tests, and if they determine you are a candidate for HGH, they may prescribe a “complete HRT program” that includes HGH injections as well as other treatments. For their male patients that will probably also include testosterone replacement therapy.
There is nothing wrong with testosterone therapy. HealthGAINS also provides testosterone therapy when needed. The point is, not everyone who walks through our doors needs testosterone therapy.
Sometimes HGH is needed, sometimes both, sometimes neither! It all depends on the individual and the symptoms he is exhibiting.
HGH Vs Testosterone Replacement Therapy
Despite the known anti-aging benefits of HGH replacement, this is a direct quote from the website of a Cenegenics clinic in Houston, Texas:
“At the moment, there is not enough evidence to recommend HGH as an anti-aging supplement. If you talk with a doctor who recommends HGH for anti-aging, find another doctor.”
Nothing could be further from the truth. The fact of the matter is, both testosterone replacement and HGH therapy are effective treatments.
It all depends on the age of the patient, his lifestyle, and the symptoms he is showing. These factors determine which of these equally beneficial treatments, is right for them to use.
Despite what it says on Cenegenics’ website, there have been numerous well-documented studies proving the worth of both HGH and testosterone therapy in men over 30.
Many people think that HGH and testosterone can be used interchangeably, since the symptoms of declining testosterone and declining HGH often overlap. For instance, a man over 30 who is chronically tired, moody, putting on weight, losing muscle tone, and having sexual problems, may have low testosterone, low HGH, or both!
The only way to know for sure what is at the root of your problem, is by taking a blood test to determine your specific levels of both hormones.
Our Approach to Anti-Aging
Both testosterone therapy and HGH therapy can have positive benefits when the right person uses it correctly. Unlike other clinics, such as Cenegenics®, we will not shoehorn you into a “one-size fits all” program.
If you come to HealthGAINS seeking HGH, we will evaluate your actual individual needs. If HGH is indicated, we will design an HGH regimen that is right for you. If it turns out that your problems are more indicative of low testosterone, then we will prescribe testosterone replacement therapy.
For some people, both testosterone and HGH therapies are indicated for optimal results.
That is what really separates HealthGAINS from Cenegenics and other age-management facilities. We listen to you and your needs, and design the right program for your lifestyle and individual goals.
